for the Fourth Annual Green Industry Day!
WHAT IS Green Industry Day?
This is a networking event and job fair that will be held in the new Center for Biotechnology &Life Sciences building and will give you the opportunity to speak with undergraduate, graduate students, alumni, faculty and staff from the departments in the College of the Environment and Life Sciences as well as other URI Colleges.
Green Industry Day Schedule
- 8:30AM – Employer set-up
- 9-10AM – Networking breakfast
- 10-11AM – Employer panel "Growing Your Future Career"
- 11-1PM – Job fair
- 1-2PM – Keynote speaker
HOW do I register for Green Industry Day?
All registration will be done through our RhodyNet system. Access RhodyNet by going to our webpage http://career.uri.edu and selecting “Employers” in the RhodyNet oval located on the left side. If you have already created an account, simply enter your username and password. If you are a new user, select the “Click here to register” option at the bottom of the login window and complete your registration profile. Registration is $50 and includes attendance for two representatives, table, signage, breakfast and lunch. Remember to include your company logo on the registration form to enhance branding. Additionally, company logos will be included in the job seeker guide at no cost if submitted prior to the publication deadline date of February 15, 2012.
Sponsorship opportunities for Green Industry Day?
To make this day a success and to keep costs low we would like to offer organizations the opportunity to sponsor part of the day. Sponsorship will support refreshments, publicity and general event expenses. Sponsorships can be obtained for $300 and covers the following:
- Full Page ad in the event guide (7"x9") due in PDF file format by Wednesday, February 15, 2012 to kchroust@uri.edu
- Pre-fair publicity around campus and on the Career Services website.
- Attendance for up to 4 representatives
- 2 six foot tables and 4 chairs
- Breakfast and lunch
Additional materials about logistics will be sent closer to the day of the event.
