You are the most important person in getting students to connect with the Office of Career Services and Employer Relations. Please encourage your son or daughter to visit early and often with a career advisor. We see students as early as first semester and offer services to all students, graduate students and URI alumni.
Students make career advising appointments through their RhodyNet accounts.

Some of the topics covered in confidential, one-to-one meetings include:
Mentor a Student. Your background, experience and wisdom can benefit current students and jobseeking alumni. You do not have to be a URI alum to participate!
Job Leads. Do you belong to a company or organization, or know of an organization that might hire URI students and alumni? The Office of Career Services and Employer Relations posts jobs for FREE! More information.
Details concerning upcoming Career events, such as job fairs and workshops, as well as listings of part-time and full-time jobs can be found on RhodyNet. This password protected online system affords all students equal access to those opportunities that are sent to the Office of Career Services and Employer Relations for posting. Frequently Asked Questions about RhodyNet.
Sponsorship: The Office of Career Services and Employer Relations welcomes parent sponsorships of programs and events. A big goal is to find support to build a new facility or renovate an existing facility to present a more professional image than is offered by the current unique facility on the second floor of Roosevelt Hall. We are looking to enhance our visibility to your students and to employers with a new modern facility!
