You will find career books, directories, lists, handouts, and periodicals helpful in selecting your major, finding a job or identifying graduate programs. Free printed resources include Job Choices Magazine and Careers in Finance and in High Tech. New books to browse: Life After Graduation, The Big Guide to Living and Working Overseas, Be Bold: Create a Resume with Impact, Military-Civilian Career Transition Guide, 150 Best Jobs through Military Training.

How do I decide on a major or find out more about a major?  How do I know what I am good at? Your career advisor assists you in exploring your interests, skills, values and abilities and connecting majors and careers. Career assessment will help you make a knowledgeable decision regarding what major to chose. Specific occupational information, self assessment testing, websites, and online resources will be suggested according to your specific interests and needs during the career advising appointment.
