1. Assisting individuals in acquiring, maintaining and improving self-help, domestic, socialization and adaptive skills.
2. Supporting individuals learn, maintain or improve skills through their participation in a variety of activities of everyday life.
3. Engage in activities with the individuals to allow them to live in the community, to live more independently, or to be more productive and participatory in community life
4. Submit accurate, completed progress notes weekly for every session worked with individual.
5. Attend the annual service planning meetings for each individual supported.
6. Complete necessary training based on the ISP of each individual.
Requirements:
•Minimum high school diploma or GED
•A valid drivers license and access to a working vehicle
•Review of criminal background check and driver’s history
•Preferred but not a requirement for position: Experience working with individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities
