Pre-Dental Timeline (Applying Junior Year)

The “traditional” timeline sets students up to enter Dental school after four years of undergraduate education, with no break or “growth year.”

This timeline requires that students take the DAT no later than May of their junior year, apply to schools June/July between their junior and senior year, and stay engaged in the application process over the course of the next year. Matriculation to an applicant’s chosen program occurs the summer following graduation from URI.
